Academic Program

The course of study equals or exceeds that required for entrance into the finest four year institutions and includes:

  • Four years of English, including literature, grammar, composition, creative writing, and research skills- AP and Honors offered (English curriculum guide)
  • Four years of social studies including World History, U.S. History, U.S. Government, American Women’s History and World Religions, research skills- AP and Honors offered (Social Studies curriculum guide)
  • Four years of mathematics including Advanced Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Advanced Calculus, Statistics–AP and Honors courses offered. (Mathematics curriculum guide)
  • Three years of Spanish. An additional semester of college preparatory Spanish is offered  in twelfth grade. Honors level offered. (Foreign Language curriculum guide)
  • Four years of laboratory science including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, AP Physics, Honors Science with Humanity, and Marine and Oceanographic Sciences. Honors offered.  (Science curriculum guide)
