Volleyball has always been the staple sport of Mount Madonna School, and a large part of that historic success is attributed to introducing competitive play in the middle school.
Having two (sometimes three!) organized teams in the 5th-8th grades allows for fundamental skill development and gives our players the tools they need to be a successful member of their high school teams when the time comes. On top of the physical skills, being a participant in our volleyball program teaches our students time management, teamwork and a healthy sense of competition. With our "no cut" policy, every student is given the opportunity to practice and grow as player and hopefully catch the contagious passion for volleyball that Mount Madonna School has been fostering for years.
