After School Activity Van Driver

We have an opening for a part-time van driver, Monday – Thursday taking students from school at 5:30pm to designated bus stops either Inland or Oceanside. Between 4 – 6 hours per week.

School Bus Driver

We have an opening for a licensed School Bus Driver: current Class B commercial license with Passenger Endorsement, and School Bus Special Driver Certificate. We are also willing to pay for training to an interested qualified candidate. The position may be part-time or full-time; 1 or 2 shifts per day available. Tuition discount is available. Facilities and Maintenance Employee

We have an immediate opening for a maintenance employee who is responsible, hardworking and works well with others. This is a full-time, hourly position (12 months, 40 hours) with benefits and requires:

  • Good organization and communication skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to work cooperatively with colleagues
  • Punctual and dependable
  • The ability to multitask and learn new skills
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry, painting, building and landscape maintenance
  • Valid Class C driver’s license

Job responsibilities include:

  • Event set-up and breakdown
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Stage and set building for plays
  • Operating landscape equipment and power tools

Life Lab Garden Assistant

The Garden Assistant job is between 4-6 hours per week and can be flexibly scheduled for weekdays or weekends. The work is coordinated with the elementary life lab teachers and includes a variety of seasonal tasks. If interested please contact the school office.

Middle School Athletic Director and PE Teacher, Grades 1-8

We have an opening for the 2019-20 school year, starting August 2019, for a Middle School Athletic Director and a Physical Education Teacher. This full-time position also includes about 6 hours per week of teacher assistant work and a few recess monitor periods. The position requires:

  • developing positive relationships with both students and parents
  • good organization and communication skills
  • flexibility and working cooperatively with colleagues at our school and other schools
  • the ability to teach physical education to students from grades 1-8
  • a willingness to help the lower school teachers as needed
  • the basic understanding of the school’s key sports offerings, including but not limited to:  volleyball, basketball, wrestling, track and field and cross country
  • a positive and encouraging attitude and willingness to help grow our middle school athletes to compete in our high school program
  • support middle school intramural competitions like International Games Day and soccer games
  • search for coaches and be willing to help with coaching if necessary
  • attend athletic events as the schedule allows

A sample weekly schedule may include: 6-8 lower school PE classes, 6-8 Middle School PE classes, 5-10 hours for AD work, 6-8 hours of Teacher assistant/recess monitor work.

Teaching experience preferred, teaching credential not required.

Volleyball Coaches for Fall Season – 2019

We have an opening starting August 2019, for volleyball coaches for our middle school girls programs.  Positions begin mid-August through mid-November for volleyball.

This part-time position requires:

  • knowledge of volleyball
  • the ability to relate well with both students and parents
  • good organization and communication skills

Experience as a player or a coach preferred.

Substitute Teachers

Immediate openings. We are currently accepting applications for experienced teachers of preschool, kindergarten, elementary school, and 6th-12th Grade. Specific subjects we teach in 6th-12th include mathematics through Calculus, Sciences, Spanish, Dance, Music, Studio Art, History, English, and Outdoor Education. Subject-specific experience is desired but not necessary; proven ability to manage a classroom and follow a lesson plan is important.

Those with classroom experience are strongly preferred. Applicants should be timely, flexible, well-organized, and able to follow a lesson plan.
