We are happy to announce the winners of the Play It Forward Digital Short Video Contest: “Milk Crates” by seniors Daniel Clifton and Roger Hooker. Through this simple short movie, which exaggerates the boys basketball team situation and shows them practicing using milk crates instead of basketball hoops, the filmmakers share their desire for a home for our MMS basketball team. Congrats to Daniel and Roger who take home $150!

A “runner up” prize goes to 3rd grader Cecily Kelly for her “Ninja the Cat,” which describes the need for a new gym from the elementary perspective: they don’t have a gym for P.E. during the cold winter months when MS & HS have productions there. Cecily will take home $50!

Kudos to everyone who participated in this short movie competition: Kaili, Noah, Curtis and Carl, Renata and Zoe, Chris, Sage and Tobin. Thanks to our judges, Sidd McDonald, Bob Caplan, Pamela Blunden, Forrest Cambell, Cameron Bess and Alex Marshall.

Please check out all the videos at Mount Madonna School’s YouTube channel.
