Drive for Schools
Update: The final numbers for Drive for Schools 2016 are in! We raised $16,947.00…that’s over $1,000.00 more than last year. Way to go Mount Madonna School Hawks!!
Congratulations to the Mount Madonna School top ticket sellers by school division: 1st place – Phoebe, (11th), Ben (7th), Giovanna (Kinder); 2nd place – Kaili (10th), Grace (7th), Harmony (2nd); 3rd place – Noah (9th), Taylor (6th), Jaxson (3rd).
The community booths were quite successful in both bringing in money for Mount Madonna School and in the fun shared by those who participated. Drive for Schools is the perfect opportunity for our students to connect with surrounding communities and share the spirit of the mountain. It was great to see so much enthusiasm and confidence as our students spoke about the wonderful programs Mount Madonna School has to offer and then articulate how the funds raised would be used to support those programs.
Thank you to those who participated in other ways such as purchasing the tickets outright or selling to friends and family. A special thank you to Mount Madonna School Faculty and Staff who encouraged students to sell tickets and educated them about the necessity of fundraising to keep Mount Madonna School programs afloat.
Through the collective support from everyone in the Mount Madonna School community we had a very successful campaign this year! The drawing took place Sunday, October 23 at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Neptune’s Stage. Congratulations to all the winners of the drawing.
Mount Madonna School is participating in the Drive for Schools fundraiser sponsored by the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and the Capitola Auto Mall Dealer’s Group.
- 100% of ticket sales proceeds benefit Mount Madonna School. Our goal is to raise $20,000, to help fund Mount Madonna School programs and operational costs.
- Upper school will receive their packets with tickets to sell on Thursday, September 15 and Lower School will receive theirs on Friday, September 16. All tickets and money are due back by Wednesday, October 12.
- Mount Madonna School is hosting booths at both inland and ocean side grocery stores. If your child would like to sell at one of these booths please call or email Linda Manzur at 408-842-4232 or .
- This raffle is very popular due to the great prizes of $25,000 cash or a new Subaru Outback or a new Toyota Prius!
