Pillar Awards
Mount Madonna School is continuing the tradition started in 2013, of presenting awards to students in middle and high school whose achievement in one of the areas of our school’s “Three Pillars” – Academic Excellence, Creative Self-Expression and Positive Character Development – was outstanding. These three areas are equally important to success at Mount Madonna School – and, indeed, in the world.
Spacebear and Jetpack Boy , a mixed-media artwork by Mount Madonna School (MMS) eighth grade student Ruby Bracher, was awarded an Honorable Mention in ‘An Artistic Discovery,’ a Congressional art competition organized by District 20 Congressman Sam Farr (D-Carmel).

Colorful, handmade books, authored and illustrated by Mount Madonna School (MMS) students were on display earlier this month at the 31st annual Student Authors’ Fair at Capitola Mall in Capitola. The event featured hundreds of books created by students from throughout the area.
