In 2013 while in India, Mount Madonna School students interviewed Rinchen Khando Choegyal, director of the Tibetan Nuns Project. Choegyal s a former Minister of Education in the Tibetan Government-in-Exile, founding President of the Women’s Tibetan Association and sister-in-law of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. She resides in Dharamsala.

Mount Madonna School Senior to Perform Original Composition in Upcoming Competition
Mount Madonna School senior David Kerr will be participating in a United States Open Music Competition (USOMC) in Oakland, California taking place February 16-21.
Kerr, a longtime Morgan Hill resident, began playing piano when he was four and currently studies with teacher, Mr. K.K. Koo.

We hope you had the chance to see “Footloose” this past weekend! Mount Madonna’s talented high school students did an amazing job of bringing their characters to life onstage and had alot of fun doing it! Fabulous singing, dancing and acting one and all!
