Senior Awarded National Merit Scholarship Commendation

Mount Madonna School is pleased to announce that senior Alexis ‘Lexi’ Julien has been named a Commended Student in the 2015 National Merit Scholarship Program. Earning this distinction signifies that a student scored in the top 5% nationwide of the more than 1.5 million students who took the 2013 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).

Fighting Hunger: Second Grade Leads Food Drive Effort at Mount Madonna School

For the fifth consecutive year, the Mount Madonna School second grade class is leading a community social service effort at Mount Madonna School, to collect donations of canned, boxed and packaged dried food for the Grind Out Hunger Program and Second Harvest Food Bank. This year, partnering with their 4th and 11th grade buddies, the students set a goal of collecting enough donated food to provide 700 meals.
