Mount Madonna School Announces 2015 Valedictorian and Seniors’ College Choices
Mount Madonna School is pleased to announce Lexi Julien as the 2015 senior class Valedictorian. Julien earned this distinction through hard work and focused effort, edging out her peers at the small Central Coast school known for strong academics, environmental education, performing arts and a competitive volleyball program. The 2015 high school graduation ceremony will commence at 9:30am on Thursday, June 11 at the school’s upper campus.

Gender Equality and Women’s History: Students Share Research with Campus Community
March was Women’s History Month and the 12th graders taking the American Women’s History elective course with teacher Tiffany Wayne chose to commemorate by launching a campus education campaign highlighting historical and current gender equality issues.
Honoring Traditions: Middle School Student Mural Installed
Thalia and Melpomene, the ancient Greek muses, are frequently depicted in modern theater by two masks with exaggerated expressions. These iconic theatrical symbols, one smiling and one frowning, represent the divide between comedy and tragedy, and feature prominently in a Mount Madonna School student mural recently installed at the Upper Campus.
