In our continuing series of parent and guardian educational information evenings, Dr. Rami Vissell, Ph.D., (‘95) will follow up her recent presentation, “Mental, Emotional and Physical Health During a Pandemic” for adults with an invitation for families to join in the discussion.
“Our conversation on October 13 will be more interactive,” said Rami. “I’m hoping whole families can come, and children of all ages are welcome. Together we will go through a practice I lead in workshops that facilitates a technique of better communication between parents and children.
“The focus will be on looking at and being aware of what our deeper needs are, and especially what we need from each other as a family,” she continued. “The goal is working towards greater harmony and a deeper understanding of how we interact with one another.”
For those that missed Rami’s thoughtful and practical September 29 session, she is willing to share her notes from that presentation, upon request. Please email [email protected]
We hope you will join us on Tuesday evening, October 13, 7:00-8:00 pm, for this next session.
