Alicia Weston-Miles ('01)

Alicia is a consultant for the Corporate Services Client Development and Strategy global team at CB Richard Ellis in San Francisco. She is a PK-12 graduate from the MMS program. She credits MMS with giving her confidence to express and challenge herself.


Daniel Nanas ('07)

Daniel graduated from MMS in 2007 after having attended since 1999. He is a student leader and active in community youth programs. He is presently a student at UC Davis.


Joshua Freedman

Joshua leads an international not-for-profit organization fostering thriving businesses, schools, and families around the globe. He consults with large organizations to improve the "human side" of leadership, conducts research on the drivers of high performance, and writes about these subjects. A former middle school teacher and administrator he has a keen interest in learning that ignites hearts and minds to invent a better future. He is the father of Emma (3rd) and Max (1st).


Mary Supriya McDonald, BA

Supriya has been teaching elementary school since 1977, and working as the Director of Elementary for the last seven years. Through her leadership, she supports faculty, parents and students to discover their joy of learning. She is a parent of alums PK '04 and Kai Ramesh '99.


Monica Nascimento

Monica has vision, direction and energy to get things done. She's worked extensively with high tech companies specializing in bringing emerging technologies to the marketplace. By far, her most important role has been as ‘mother’ to both Nicole (8th) and Leah (11th).


Nicole Tervalon Ph.D.

Dr. Nicole has been on the faculty since 2004. With a background in Oceanographic Engineering, she brings her passion for science and teaching to MMS. She is the mother of Noah and Kahlan, students in the MMS elementary program.


Rajendra Bingham

Rajendra has served on the Mount Madonna School Executive Committee for 3 years. He provides leadership, oversight and direction for the school especially in the area of finance. He has background in computer science, systems and technology, and is the parent of an MMS alumnus.


Rod Caborn M.A

Rod brings leadership, support and enthusiasm to MMS. He runs a school fundraising company that fosters community while generating resources. He has a background in Business and Linguistics. He is the father of Cassidy (5th) and McKenzie (8th).


Sadanand Ward Mailliard

Sadanand serves on the MMS Executive Committee and faculty. He pioneered the course Values in American Thought, bringing world thinkers and leaders in conversation with MMS Juniors and Seniors. His latest dynamic project is a collaborative venture called "Project Happiness" with the Dalai Lama Foundation.


Sarada Diffenbaugh Ph.D.

Sarada is a founding member of Mount Madonna School and has served as Head of School since 1979. She brings a vision to the school of academic excellence, creative self-expression and positive character development. She has two sons, MMS alumni Suresh ‘92 and PK ‘95.


Ralph A. Wolff

Ralph is the President and Executive Director of the Senior College Commission of WASC. The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is one of six regional associations that accredit public and private schools, colleges, and universities in the United States. The Senior College Commission accredits 160 baccalaureate to doctoral institutions serving over 800,000 students. Ralph brings extensive experience in school educational leadership. Prior to joining WASC, Wolff was the founder and Director of Planning of the Antioch School of Law, Dean of the Graduate School of Education at Antioch, and a law professor at the University of Dayton. A graduate of Tufts University, Wolff received his JD with honors from the National Law Center at George Washington University.


Vivian Wright

Vivian has been a change agent within Hewlett-Packard in many different roles for over 20 years. She has a background in large group processes, communities, emotional intelligence techniques, and graphic facilitation. Vivian brings innovation, creative experimentation and new approaches to team collaboration.


Serving as an Advisor:

Angeles Arrien Ph.D

Angeles is a cultural anthropologist, award-winning author, educator, and consultant to many organizations and businesses. Her work focuses on Cross-Cultural Education and Research. She is a long time supporter of MMS and will serve to help guide the vision.
